Seeking for freelance content/media creators

🌟 Join the Deaf Nuggets Communication Crew!

Under the Deafhood Institute & Museum of Deaf History, Arts & Culture (MDHAC)

We’re assembling a small but mighty team of creators who are passionate about shaping how the world understands Deaf people, Deaf culture, and signed languages. If you love crafting clear, engaging, bilingual (ASL/English) content, this is a meaningful chance to make an impact.


🎥✨ We’re seeking freelance content/media creators skilled in at least three of the following areas:

  •  Writing/ Signing & Editing (plain language in ASL/ English)

  •  Newsletter, Annual Report & Organizational Needs Assessment Report Editor

  •  Social media & community engagement

  •  Graphic design & layout (Canva/Adobe)

  •  Video production

  •  Captioning & QC Review

  •  Web content/ edits & analytics (WIX)


🕒 Time Commitment: 2–4 hours per month — flexible & remote


🤝Collaboration: Work with the Deafhood Institute/ MDHAC Admin Team and Museum Coordinator


💵Compensation: Paid


Engagement: Independent contractor (1099); limited hourly or monthly retainer; own

equipment; contractor agreement; IP assignment & confidentiality required.
