TITLE: Program Coordinator

Education/Volunteer Specialist


The Museum of Deaf History, Arts and Culture is the first independently-run 501(c)(3) museum about Deaf people that is not affiliated with any school or government entity. This position supports the coordination and implementation of all programs within the museum utilizing our mission of wanting to advance and preserve knowledge about Deaf people, their languages, cultures and experiences in the United States and around the world.


Organizational Relationship: The Program Coordinator reports to the Executive Director. The position also works collaboratively with Museum board members and bookkeeper in supporting daily operations and other functions.


Position Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the overseeing all museum programs, facilitating content, and working with staff and/or committee in delivery.

  • Coordinating contracted program artists’ and facilitators’ needs by providing resources, logistic and administrative support.

  • Assist in day-to-day details of all education and volunteer services programs as assigned, including: coordination, schedules, venues, and resources.

  • Assist in the coordination of exhibits in the Chuck Baird Art Gallery.

  • Communicate with a wide variety of audiences about Museum programs.

  • Collaborate with Marketing to ensure best communication about all programs.

  • Assist with set-up, organization, and upkeep of program spaces and education supplies.

  • Assist in processing and tracking school registration data and providing administrative support for education programs as needed. This support may include but is not limited to: receiving and processing email and telephone inquiries, inputting group visit and/or registration data into a database; processing some payments; preparing confirmation letters, packets and reports; and distributing and collecting evaluation forms.

  • Maintain volunteer database, including track volunteer hours.

  • Help recruit and train new volunteers for all Museum departments.

  • Support and/or lead volunteer appreciation events and activities.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all guests.

  • Other duties as assigned

The duties listed above are intended as illustrations of the types of work that may be performed. The omission of specific job duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment to the position.


Supervisory Responsibility: Not a supervisory position. May train, recommend, or lead the work of interns and volunteers.


Intrapersonal Contacts: Interact in a professional and respectful manner with staff, board members, and the public while providing positive customer service. Regularly represents the Museum to the general public, contractors, vendors, agencies, volunteers, and community organizations. Requires the ability to create effective, cooperative relationships with others which promotes a positive work atmosphere and image of the Museum.


Job Conditions: Must be able to attend work on a regular and dependable basis. Regular use of videophone, computer, database, office equipment, audio-visual equipment, etc. Normally works a 20-24 hour week, generally Wednesday through Saturday. Will be required to work some evenings, weekends, and extended hours at times for internal programs and events. Regular hours may be adjusted to accommodate evening and weekend work.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Graduate plus 5+years of work experience

  • Bilingual, American Sign Language-English, strongly preferred

  • Prior event production experience a plus

  • Strong MS Office skills

  • Excellent expressive and written communication skills

  • Ease with technology essential (data collection programs, media and audio production, iPad, etc.)

  • Knowledge of or work experience related to public schools a plus

  • Knowledge or experience working in informal education environments (youth programs, camps, YMCA, museums, etc.) desired

  • Flexible schedule with Wednesday-Saturday schedule, occasional evenings.

  • Proactive, self-starter, resourceful, team member

  • Ability to provide effective customer service for internal and external clients

  • High level organizational skill and a strong attention to detail with the ability to create and maintain multiple documents and spreadsheets for tracking all various documentation

Compensation: Part Time Positionhourly pay. Commensurate with experience. No overtime (i.e. time and half). Flex scheduling permitted with supervisor approval. Paid time off (if work schedule falls on a holiday).

Tối qua mình đọc các bình luận trao đổi trên một diễn đàn, mình bắt gặp bay789.events được chèn vào giữa câu chuyện. Mình bấm thử xem cho biết, chủ yếu là để xem cách trình bày và cấu trúc nội dung. Lướt nhanh thì thấy tổng thể khá gọn gàng, tạo cảm giác đáng tin cậy. Xem xong mình quay lại đọc tiếp các bình luận khác, chứ cũng không đào sâu thêm

Xài một thời gian mới thấy những nền tảng giữ được giao diện gọn thường tạo cảm giác sử dụng thoải mái hơn khi mở liên tục. Riêng https://pg88.dance/ , mình khá chú ý việc nhiều khu nội dung được bố trí dễ nhìn, thêm vào đó lịch sử thao tác cũng được lưu lại khá thuận tiện nên lúc cần xem lại thông tin không mất nhiều thời gian. Cá nhân mình thấy trải nghiệm tổng thể khá liền mạch và dễ bắt nhịp hơn.
